The Longitudinal Influence of Peer Group on Prosocial Behavior Development of Adolescents in Class Context
The development of prosocial behavior is a key factor for adolescents to adapt to school life and has an important impact on their physical and mental health.A questionnaire was used to study the adolescents in a city of Anhui Province.The results show that:The level of prosocial behavior in class has a stronger effect on adolescents'prosocial behavior than their initial level of prosocial behavior,especially for adolescents with lower initial level of prosocial behavior;Both same-sex peers and opposite-sex peers have an impact on adolescent prosocial behavior de-velopment,but the influence from same-sex peers is greater.Finally,the limitations of the study are analyzed,and on this basis,the future research is prospected.
