Exploring Teaching of College Chemistry for Non-chemistry Majors Under the Concept of Ideological and Political Education
College Chemistry is a compulsory public basic course for non-chemistry majors.Due to its wide coverage and junior-grade education target,it is an effective carrier for carrying out ideological and political education in uni-versities.This paper briefly elaborates on the current situation of the integration of teaching and ideological and po-litical education in the course of College Chemistry,analyzes the characteristics of the knowledge structure of this course,and proposes to guide students to establish correct values through subtle influence,stimulate students'inter-est in learning,cultivate students'national pride,cultural confidence,social responsibility awareness,professional ethics,green environmental protection concept,etc.This paper suggests linking subject knowledge,ideological and political content,and life practice to truly achieve the goal of"educating people"and provide feasible strategies for ideological and political education in science and engineering teachers'teaching.
