Linguistic Landscape in Virtual Space:Connotation,Difference and Communication Directivity
Linguistic landscape is a sociolinguistic concept embedded in the natural geographic landscape of a city,aimed at capturing the linguistic power relations and group identity markers of urban space.This paper attempts to cross the boundaries of physical linguistic landscapes,describe the connotations of virtual linguistic landscapes,and their differences from physical linguistic landscapes.Taking the social media used by multilingual learners in the context of "Internet+"as the research object,this paper explores the relationship between multilingual practice in virtual space and multilingual language learning,and clarifies the communicative orientation of the virtual linguistic landscape and its unique multimodal multilingual ecology.
