Positive Impact of Cheerleading on Social Communication Ability in Children with Autism
In order to study the positive effect of cheerleading exercise on social communication ability of children with autism spectrum disorder(ASD),from the perspective of sports rehabilitation and special education,based on behavioral therapy and social skills training theory,this paper analyzes the potential effect of cheerleading exercise as a team and interactive sports activity on the improvement of social communication ability of children with ASD.The study found that after 12 weeks of cheerleading intervention,children with ASD had significant improvement in communication disorders,stereotyped behaviors and social disorders,and the improvement effect of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group receiving only routine rehabilitation treatment.It shows that cheerleading exercise is helpful to improve the social skills of children with ASD by promoting teamwork,impro-ving perception and rhythm,and providing positive emotional experience.Therefore,it is proposed to incorporate cheerleading exercise as an auxiliary treatment method into the treatment plan of children with ASD.
