The excellent traditional Chinese culture is the root and soul of the Chinese nation,and contains a deep spiritual pursuit.In the face of such a long-standing ideological and cultural treasure,the Chinese nation should persist in making the past serve the present,bringing forth the new through the old,and educating people by culture and literature with spiritual wealth.This paper takes Cantonese culture,an important part of Lingnan culture,as the research object,integrates it into ideological and political education in colleges and universities,studies its connotation,characteristics and realistic value,and explores the path of integrating Cantonese culture into ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Taking colleges and universities in Guangfu region as an example,it is more conducive to arousing students'sense of identity.This is not only the inherent requirement for implementing the fundamental task of cultivating people through moral education,but also the meaning of carrying out ideological and political education in colleges and universities.It is also an important support for cultivating qualified builders and successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.
