Zhengbo Beat Duan at Yan records a war between Duke Zhuang of Zheng and Gong Shu Duan,which contains rich military strategy ideas.Before the war,Duke Zhuang of Zheng used the name of righteousness to win the hearts of the people and tried to capture Gong Shu Duan three times;during the war,he used his absolute superior military strength to strike back;after the war,in order to establish the image of a benevolent monarch and a filial son,he pardoned Jiang Shi to win the hearts of the people.Regarding the cause of the war,predecessors either blamed Duke Zhuang of Zheng for his lack of education or Jiang Shi's favoritism.In fact,the war was caused by the deep suspicion of Duke Zhuang of Zheng,who lacked maternal love,towards Gong Shu Duan.
