Objective To analyse cDNA sequences from full-length cDNA library of IRM-2 mice. Methods Full-length cDNA products were amplified by PCR from cDNA library of IRM-2 mice according to twenty-one pieces of EST. Full-length cDNA sequences and properties were analyzed by comparing with GenBank database. Results Five pieces of full-length cDNA were obtained according to PCR products amplified by twenty-one pairs of primers, which were not the same as that of known mice genes. A-mino acid sequences and properties of proteins encoded by five pieces of full-length cDNA were acquired. Conclusion Five pieces of full-length cDNA imply that radioresistance correlative genes may be existed in IRM-2 mice, laying a foundation for isolating and identifying radioresistance correlative genes in further study.
