Clinical efficacy of carbomer isolation gel combined with interferon in the treatment of high-risk human papilloma virus infection and related diseases in female reproductive tract
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of carbomer isolation gel combined with interferon in the treatment of high-risk human papilloma virus(HPV)infection and related diseases in female reproductive tract. Methods:A total of 300 women with high-risk HPV infection in female reproductive tract were prospectively recruited between August 2021 and October 2022 in Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology,Lishui District People's Hospital. The patients were divided into the study group(150 cases)and the control group(150 cases)according to a computer-generated table of random numbers.Patients in the control group were treated with interferon and those in the study group were treated with carbomer isolation gel combined with interferon. The basic characteristics, clinical effects, and inflammatory factors, immune index levels and vaginal microecology before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results:There were no significant differences in the average age and the number of married women between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment, the total effective rate of the study group[96.67%(145/150)]was significantly higher than that of the control group[85.33%(128/150)](x2=11.762,P=0.001).In addition, the levels of tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α)and interleukin 6(IL-6),as well as the proportion of CD81T cells,Nugent score and pH value of vaginal secretion in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),while the proportions of CD3+T cells and CD4+T cells as well as the ratio of CD4+/CD8+in the study group were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.05).The changes in the study group after treatment were more significant than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:The clinical efficacy of carbomer isolation gel combined with interferon in the treatment of high-risk HPV infection and related diseases in female reproductive tract could be better than that of interferon alone. The anti-inflammatory and immune function and vaginal microecology of the patients were significantly improved.
