Research progress on the application of stem cells in ovarian tissue freezing and transplantation
The clinical application of stem cells in the treatment of blood system diseases has been relatively mature,and has been widely promoted,which has saved the lives of many leukemia patients.H owever,stem cells in reproductive medicine are still in the early stage of development.Although there are relatively more studies on stem cells in ovarian dysfunction,there are many interests in ovarian freezing and transplantation that have not been conducted and worthy studying.This review summarizes the latest progress of stem cell use in cryopreservation and transplantation of ovarian tissue,highlights the progress and mechanisms of improving damaged follicle survival with stem cells from different sources,and prospects the potential clinical applications in infertility treatment and fertility preservation,especially in ovarian frozen transplantation.
