As a proletarian politician,revolutionary,thinker,and theoretician,Marx and Engels were accompanied by the activities of the press from beginning to end.The main ones are:the unity of the principle of party spirit and the principle of people's nature;Freedom of the press is a fundamental freedom,a guarantee for the realization of other freedoms;Newspapers are the expression of the people's thoughts and feelings,and the mouthpiece of the people's response;Comrade Mao Zedong proposed that"politicians run newspapers";After the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the general secretary proposed to"persist in politicians running newspapers,periodicals,stations,and news websites,"all of which profoundly expounded the extreme importance of strengthening the party's leadership over propaganda,ideology,and cultural work.In the era of self-media,college students are"aborigines"who have grown up on the Internet,and their learning situation is changing rapidly,especially in higher vocational colleges,which has brought challenges to ideological and political education and management,and some views of Marx's journalistic thought have an enlightening effect on ideological and political education.
