Study on the Ways of Developing the Skills of Ideological and Political Education for English Teachers in Higher Vocational Colleges Based on Vocational Skills Competitions
Skills competition is an effective platform for the display,inspection and communication of teaching achievements in vocational colleges.It not only examines students'knowledge,skills,professional quality and critical thinking ability,but also examines teachers'ideological and political teaching ability.However,there are many deficiencies in their ideological and political teaching ability.Therefore,we should promote the ideological and political concept of skills competition,and improve the ideological and political quality of English teachers;To actively transform the ideological and political resources of the skills competition,enrich the course's ideological and political teaching content;We should innovate the ideological and political teaching design of the courses under the guidance of the ability requirements of the skill competition;Also,a multi-dimensional ideological and political teaching evaluation and reflection system should be established so as to promote the curriculum ideological and political teaching reform and to improve the quality of talent training.
