1+X证书制度是当前高职教育改革的重点.实用英语交际职业技能等级证书(Vocational English Test System),简称VETS,作为唯一语言类"1+X"证书,是教育部职业教育发展中心授权发布的参与1+X证书制度试点的职业技能等级证书.VETS证书依托真实场景,注重学用结合,对高职公共英语教学改革具有很强的推动作用.尝试探索 1+X(VETS)证书制度及其与高职公共英语教学的融通路径,持续推进公共英语教学与职业技能证书体系的有效对接.
Abstract
The 1+X Certificate System is currently a key focus in the reform of higher vocational colleges.The Vocational English Test System(VETS),as the sole language-based"1+X"certificate,is a vocational skill level certificate authorized by the Ministry of Education's Center for the Development of Vocational Education to participate in the pilot program of the"1+X"Certificate System.By leveraging authentic scenarios and emphasizing the integration of learning and application,VETS exerts a strong impetus on the reform of public English teaching in higher vocational institutions.This paper endeavors to explore the pathways for integrating the 1+X(VETS)certificate system with public English teaching,continuously promoting effective alignment between English instruction and the vocational skills certification framework.
