Industrial cluster research in China pays less attention to the high-quality development of traditional handicraft industry clusters and their evolution power mechanism.This paper takes the Jingdezhen ceramic industry cluster as an example,uses the literature research and GIS spatial analysis methods to carry out research on the ceramic industry cluster evolution law and high-quality development mechanism in Jingdezhen since 1949,and came up with the following conclusions:①Jingdezhen ceramic industry cluster evolution stage can be divided into three stages,namely,the incubation and germination period(1949-1978),the early growth period(1978-2010),and cluster towards maturity period(2010-present).②The spatial distribution of industrial clusters evolved so far is characterized by:the core ceramic industry circle presents four main nuclei and multiple sub-nuclei distribution;the ceramic auxiliary industry circle presents a contiguous distribution trend around the core ceramic industry circle main and sub-nuclei to expand the distribution;and the urban service industry circle presents a multi-point distribution.The article proposes a"Production-Education-Research-Travel-Exhibition-Dissemination"multi-helix development mode for the ceramic industry cluster empowerment role.It suggests that the spatial and temporal development model to empower the role of ceramic industry cluster high-quality development mechanism.Meanwhile,the article also suggests that the ceramic industry cluster should be linked and integrated with cultural heritage preservation,heritage resourcing,cultural tourism,and other policy suggestions regarding spatial and temporal development.
