This article focuses on the significant position and distinctive artistic value of the wood leaf pattern decoration in the Jizhou kiln within traditional Chinese ceramic art.By analyzing multiple aspects such as regional resources,mulberry-growing culture,Zen philosophy,and the spirit of tea ceremony,it reveals how these elements have bestowed the wood leaf pattern decoration of the Jizhou kiln with its unique charm and artistic significance.The porcelain clay from Qingyuan Mountain offered the Jizhou kiln a privileged development environment.The mulberry-growing culture provided abundant mulberry leaf resources for decoration,while Zen philosophy and the spirit of tea ceremony imparted profound meaning and Zen wisdom to the decoration.To sum up,these factors jointly constitute the distinctiveness of the wood leaf pattern decoration of the Jizhou kiln and endow it with unique artistic value.The research in this article contributes to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the cultural connotation and artistic value conveyed by the wood leaf pattern decoration of the Jizhou kiln and provides beneficial references for the protection and development of traditional Chinese ceramic art.
