Pressure Hysteresis Analysis and Design Optimization of Pneumatic Brake Caliper Unit
Aiming at the problem of pressure hysteresis in the braking phase and release phase of the pneumatic caliper unit, the typical pneumatic brake caliper unit is selected to carry out the hysteresis characteristic experiment of the system at the ambient temperature of 25℃,0℃,40℃ and 45℃,and the variation law of pressure hysteresis of the pneumatic caliper unit at different ambient temperatures is verified. The first-order linear fitting and second-order polynomial fitting methods are used to analyze the experimental data.Combined with the power consumption in the system,a more accurate formula to determine the relationship between the air pressure and the output force of the pneumatic caliper unit is proposed in the design stage. The frictional internal friction of brake cylinder and pneumatic caliper system is analyzed, and some structural design optimization is carried out, which lays a theoretical foundation for further structural optimization.
