The Inheritance and Development Path of Red Culture in the New Era—An Exploration Along Xi Jinping's Red Footprints
In the new era,Xi Jinping,general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee has visited the revolutionary sites,birthplaces of red culture and patriotic education bases over 30 times.His multiple instructions and remarks on major revolutionary and historical events provide new thinking and propose a path for the inheritance and development of red culture.Something important can be learnt from Xi's inspection tours and relevant instructions.The red culture should be inherited and carried forward when developing revolutionary base areas and red tourism,when narrating revolutionary stories and learning history of the Party and new China,when conducting the patriotic education and enriching the spirit of Communist Party of China.Therefore,the inheritance and development of red culture following Xi's red footprints in the new era can be realized in following measures.Firstly,uphold the leadership of the CPC to reinforce the political guidance and hold the banner of communism.Secondly,learn the future from the past and insist on the cultural education to sublimate the core value of red culture.Thirdly,adhere to people-centered philosophy to improve the lives of the people.Lastly,maintain cultural confidence in international exchanges and convey China's own voice.
