Facing profound changes unseen in a century,the student management in Chinese police academies is confronted with different challenges.At the macro level,the increasingly complex and changeable situation in China and abroad,the rapid development of modern information technology,the continuous penetration of high education reform,the undergoing police reform are main factors.And at the micro level,there are some defects in management concept,institutions and team construction.In the background of new era,the student management in police academies should keep up with the times,thoroughly improve the management level and quality.It should change management concept,emphasize the student-centered philosophy and the understanding of student growth.It should strengthen the team building of management staff and reinforce the belief education so as to enhance its capability.
