In terms of economics,time and space is an important perspective to investigate transportation behavior.However,it is difficult to systematically study urban rail transit products as there are such different dimensions as transportation space displacement,commercial consumption time cost and urban spatial rules.The economic concept of time-space transformation further explains the con-notation of segmented products of urban rail transit from a time-space perspective,and thus creates the transportation service products(Pt)with"transportation time savings",the commercial service products(Pc)with"consumption time increase"and the urban service products(Pu)with"factor mobility time savings".Based on this theory,this paper analyzes the production process of segmented prod-ucts for urban rail transit from the perspective of time and space on the dimensions of production process analysis,relationships among segmented products,and production organization behavior.Furthermore,the application of analysis methods for urban rail transit seg-mented products from the perspective of time and space is proposed,which includes reasonably determining the scale of network pro-duction,constructing a layered observation of network production behavior,defining the development direction of TOD mode,and im-proving the production efficiency of urban rail transit networks.
