A railway hub is the key point for train flow and passenger flow to assemble and transfer while the passenger sta-tions within the railway hub are the connecting points for a city's internal and outbound traffic.Each station has its own roles and all stations are interconnected,and all stations together play a role in the railway transportation within the region.By analyzing the cur-rent situation and layout planning of the passenger transportation system in Beijing railway hub,this paper summarizes the railway connectivity routes,train operation status,and the existing problems of each station.Based on the analysis of the passenger flow fea-tures of Beijing railway hub,including the overall passenger traffic,railway passenger flow within the hub,passenger flow by direc-tion and transfer,and railway passenger flow prediction,this paper proposes the main strategies for the connectivity planning of Bei-jing railway hub,namely:operating more trains connecting different lines for convenient cross-region connection,building the west ring line for passenger transportation,planning the underground direct north-south line,improving the connection corridor of the north ring line,improving the functions of connecting lines and ring lines,and improving the supporting functions of Beijing Fengtai Station.With this new proposal to improve connectivity in the Beijing railway hub,it has connected the Beijing hub with high-speed railways in all directions,and making it easier for passengers to board nearby,and enhancing the mobility and flexibility of the rail-way network and hub transportation organization.
