Experimental Study on UHPC Formwork-free Wet Joint Bending Resistance Model with Corrugated Steel Web
According to the force characteristics of bridge deck slabs at wet joints in prefabricated bridges and the existing joint construction forms,a ultra-high performance concrete(UHPC)formwork-free wet joint construction form with embedded corrugated steel web(CSW)as the bottom formwork was proposed to solve the problem of on-site formwork support for joints. In order to study the mechanical properties of the new type of joint, five test beams were designed to carry out four-point bending full-process bending performance test with steel fiber content as the test parameter. The results show that the main cracks of each test beam are located in the prefabricated section, and bending failure occurs. There is no significant damage in the wet joint area. The increase of steel fiber content can enhance the UHPC-NC(normal concrete)interfacial bond and improve the crack resistance of joint, but it has little impact on the bending bearing capacity of the structure. The crack resistance performance of the formwork-free joint beam with a steel fiber content of 1.0%is second only to UHPC integral beam, and it has the advantages of simple structure, simplified construction, and economical cost. The results indicate that the joint construction form is feasible and reliable in practical engineering. It is recommended to use UHPC with a steel fiber content of around 1.0%.
