Study on Optimal Design of Retaining Structure of Light Weight Foamed Concrete Subgrade
Light Weight Foamed Concrete(LWFC)has played a unique advantage in the subgrade widening project with limited construction site.In order to further optimize the retaining structure of railway LWFC subgrade, field tests were carried out at the Feidong station of Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou railway, and the stress characteristics and changes of the retaining structure were obtained. The results show that the LWFC has good independence and strength after pouring. The lateral pressure on the retaining structure is significantly reduced. The lateral earth pressure on the retaining structure is only 2~5 kPa,and the earth pressure coefficient gradually decreases to 0.1.Therefore,the main function of the LWFC embankment retaining structure is to prevent the deterioration of the LWFC,protect the performance of the LWFC,and serve as a construction template, which can be optimized according to the lateral pressure and wind load before the LWFC filling and curing.
