To study the alignment changes of long span cable-stayed bridges when transforming from nominal anchor points to actual anchor point positions, starting from the three elements of force, the reasons for the deviation of bridge alignment caused by the change of anchor point positions in the design process of cables were analyzed. Then, combined with engineering examples, the alignment deviation caused by the change of anchor point positions under different experimental conditions was calculated. The results indicate that in the design process of cables,it is necessary to fully consider the influence of beam end anchor point pre-deviation and anchor pad thickness on the actual anchor point and cutting length of the cables.Otherwise, the cables may have unreasonable design problems, resulting in significant deviations in the actual anchor point position and bridge alignment.
