Research on Collapse Mechanism and Treatment Technology of Water-Rich Fault Fracture Zone in Xinzhai Tunnel
During the construction of the tunnel over the fault fracture zone,the surrounding rock is prone to collapse,water and mud surges and other accidents,which brings considerable challenges to the tunnel construction.This paper takes the collapse,water surge and lining deformation damage in the process of Xinzhai Tunnel crossing the water-rich fault fracture zone as the engineering background,based on the field survey and analysis of tunnel deformation damage mechanism,it is concluded that the low bearing capacity of the tunnel surrounding rock,rock fragmentation,irrational lining support and abundant groundwater are the main factors leading to the deformation damage of the tunnel;in order to reduce the adverse effects of the fault fracture zone,a series of comprehensive management measures are proposed in terms of the treatment of the tunnel collapsing body,advance support,lining reinforcement and adjustment of construction methods;the effectiveness of the measures is verified through the on-site monitoring data.The results of the study can be of some reference significance to similar projects.
