Research on the Parameter Law and Optimization of Shield Tunneling in Hard Rock Composite Strata in Sea Area
The construction characteristics of Jintang subsea tunnel are 'long, deep, dangerous, precise, and difficult'.By using statistical analysis methods, the distribution characteristics of shield thrust, cutterhead torque, advance speed, and cutterhead rotation speed are studied, and corresponding shield driving parameter optimization measures are proposed. The results show that the average total thrust in cohesive soil and sandy soil is the highest, with a characteristic of 'single peak'variation, followed by composite formation, and hard formation is the smallest;in cohesive soil, sandy soil, and hard rock layers, the cutterhead torque shows an approximate normal distribution, with the average torque of hard rock layers being the highest, followed by cohesive soil and sandy soil, and the minimum in composite layers;in all formations, the advance speeds are obviously 'unimodal' characteristic, with the average excavation speed being the smallest in hard rock, followed by composite strata, and the highest and similar between cohesive soil and sandy soil;the distribution range of cutterhead rotation speed in cohesive soil, sandy soil, and hard rock layers,is relatively concentrated, while the distribution range is relatively 'wide'in composite strata, and its coefficient of variation is the largest;in cohesive and sandy soils, the optimization of shield driving parameters should adopt by 'high thrust, high cutterhead rotation speed, and high excavation speed',while the 'low thrust, low cutterhead rotation speed, and low excavation speed' should be adopted in hard rock formations, moreover, dynamic adjustments should be made according to changes in composite formations.
