Research on Common Troubleshooting Techniques for Open TBM
Based on the practical application of open TBM in the construction of a water supply tunnel in a certain water supply project in northwest China,this paper analyzed and studied the common faults and specific maintenance methods during the excavation process of open TBM.An analysis was conducted on the specific manifestations,causes,and solutions of common faults in the systems such as the open TBM lubrication system,grease system,hydraulic system,main drive system,and cutterhead.A thinking mode was formed that reflects the cause of the fault through fault manifestations,proposes maintenance methods based on the cause of the fault,and then solves the problem of the fault.This maintenance method has achieved good engineering results in practical application,and can provide reference for the fault maintenance of related projects in the open TBM construction process.
