TBM Spare Parts Grading Inventory and Configuration Optimization Method
With the rapid development of infrastructure construction,a large number of long and large tunnel projects have emerged in China,and a single project uses a dozen or even dozens of TBM clusters for construction.At present,the spare parts management of TBM is still mainly based on independent inventory established for a single project(1-2 TBMs),with an upper limit on financial capacity.Moreover,the demand prediction for TBM spare parts heavily relies on personal experience and lacks effective theoretical prediction models.Therefore,a spare parts classification management method and its demand prediction model have been proposed.Firstly,based on the characteristics of scaled cluster TBM and spare parts,a management model for TBM graded inventory spare parts has been established,including both independent and joint inventories.Secondly,relying on a spare parts supply system and analyzing the probability distributions of spare part failures and system failures,a demand prediction model is built.The model has stepwise determined the initial TBM spare parts configuration with the constraint of ensuring the continuous operation of individual equipment and the optimized TBM spare parts configuration with the objective of a minimum funding ratio and the constraint of ensuring the system-wide continuous operation of TBM.Finally,taking a specific project as the research object,a study on grading inventory configuration is conducted while considering both spare parts fill rate and system fulfillment rate.The results indicate that,the proposed method provides a theoretical basis for the rationalized graded spare parts configuration of clustered TBM.
