Design of Cable-Hoisting System for the Half-Through Tied Arch Bridge Across Mountainous River
The main span of Dongsheng Bridge spanning the Fujiang River is a 258 m half-through tied arch bridge, and its upper steel structure is constructed using cable hoisting method.Based on the terrain, engineering geology, hydrological and meteorological conditions, and bridge alignment design of the bridge site, and in accordance with the principles of safety, reliability, and economy, without affecting the construction of the approach bridge piers, cover beams, and prefabricated T-beams,and reducing the height of the tower,a comparison of the overall layout of the cable lifting system and the position of the tower was made.Combined with the lifting weight, installation position, and lifting method of the lifting components,a set of cable hoisting system was designed. The system integrates double towers and three spans, unequal height towers with main cables and buckle cables, fixed cable saddles, and shared anchorage for cable suspension and buckle anchor cables, which can provide reference for the construction of similar bridges across mountainous rivers.
