Research on the Resource Utilization of Mucks from Slurry Balanced Shield Tunnel in Granite Strata in the Xiwan Sea Area
A series of laboratory experiments and on-site application were conducted on the mucks generated during the excavation of the slurry balanced shield tunnel in granite strata, based on the Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen Intercity Railway in the Xiwan sea area of Shenzhen.Through sampling and performance testing of on-site mucks,it was found that the mucks contain a large amount of rock powder. On this basis, the research plan for the resource utilization of mucks using rock powder as a partial substitute material for synchronous grouting slurry was proposed, and the laboratory slurry performance measurement experiments were carried out under different material ratios. Finally, the newly developed synchronous grouting slurry was applied on site. The results indicate that the slurry can meet engineering requirements well and is more economical. It is highly feasible to use rock powder instead of sand to prepare simultaneous grouting slurry.
