Study on Mix Proportion Optimization of Expressway Concrete Under Freeze-Thaw Cycle Test
The frost resistance of expressway concrete is poor under special environment,so a optimum mixture ratio of expressway concrete is designed in the paper based on freeze-thaw cycle test. Two kinds of water reducing agents that is sold in the market or self-made,and three kinds of fly ash with the content of 8%,15%and 30%,were selected to preliminarily prepare expressway concrete, and the optimum mixture ratio of expressway concrete was determined through freeze-thaw cycle test, and the change of concrete during freeze-thaw cycle tests using different snow melting agents was observed. The test results show that the concrete used in expressway prepared with 15%fly ash, which has relatively stable frost resistance, has high strength after freeze-thaw cycle test. The use of inorganic salt snow melting agent will not seriously damage the strength of concrete, and improve the service life of expressway. The designed concrete has high strength and strong frost resistance, meeting the requirements of expressway construction.
