Random Prediction Method of Ground Settlement Caused by Double-Hole Tunnel Construction Under Different Construction Methods
Due to the complexity of urban twin-bore tunnel construction, the prediction and control of surface settlement by tunnel excavation has become an urgent problem. In this paper, based on the traditional random medium theory, the surface settlement law formula for twin-bore tunnel construction is obtained by using polar coordinate transformation.Taking the construction of a twin-bore tunnel in Guangzhou as an example, the PLAXIS 3D model is established for the twin-bore tunnel constructed by CRD method,CD method and double sidewall method, and the theoretical prediction value is compared and analyzed with the numerical simulation value. The results of the analysis are as follows:the overall trend of the surface settlement prediction results under different methods is basically consistent with the numerical results. The theoretical values of the maximum surface settlement under the CD and CRD methods are in good agreement with the numerical simulation values. The stochastic prediction solution for surface settlement due to twin-bore tunnel construction under the double sidewall guide pit method has the largest difference from the numerical simulation solution.
