Research on Operation Test and Improvement of Hydraulic System of Shield Tunneling Machine in Low Pressure Environment
With the increasing demand for tunnel construction in high-altitude areas of the plateau, more and more shield tunneling machines equipped with hydraulic systems appearing in the plateau areas. It is well known that hydraulic systems operate in complex and unstable conditions in low-pressure environments, such as the minimum oil suction pressure of the plunger pump not being lower than the absolute pressure of 0.8 bar,and the linear proportional relationship between the saturation of bubbles in the oil and atmospheric pressure. In order to obtain a comprehensive and accurate operating status of the hydraulic system under high-altitude conditions, based on scientific research projects,we are now building a hydraulic system operation test bench that simulates high-altitude environments. It tests the operating status of the hydraulic system under different atmospheric pressures and working pressures,as well as the bubble content in the system oil.And based on the experimental results, targeted solutions are proposed and successfully applied to the hydraulic system of shield tunneling in high-altitude tunnel construction. The hydraulic system has been stable for more than 1 year.
