Research on the Bearing Capacity of Cement Mixing Pile Composite Foundation Based on European Standard
In order to further improve the quality of overseas projects of China,the special geotechnical engineering construction standard—deep mixing method specification of European Standardization Committee and Broms and FHWA composite foundation bearing capacity calculation method were elaborated,and the similarities and differences between the Chinese standard and the European standard composite foundation bearing capacity design methods were compared and analyzed.Based on a calculation example and comparative analysis of a certain overseas project,the results and rules of different composite foundation bearing capacity calculation methods were obtained.The results show that different calculation methods have certain differences in numerical values due to their specific parameter values,but the patterns of change are consistent.The European standard focuses on the values of undrained shear strength of soil,unconfined compressive strength of piles,and pile-soil stress ratio.Attention should be paid to the choice of these values and the results of in-situ testing in design work.
