Research on Key Technologies of Large Cross-Section Tunnels on the UAE Railway
With the continuous construction of tunnels,China's tunnel construction technology has developed rapidly.Since the launch of the Belt and Road,an increasing number of domestic enterprises have expanded overseas and entered the international stage.Middle Eastern countries,represented by the United Arab Emirates,lack experience in the construction of key technologies for large cross-section tunnels.Domestic tunnel construction experience can only provide reference,posing great challenges to tunnel construction safety,quality,and progress.This article relies on the large section tunnel of the United Arab Emirates Federal Railway to study the key technologies for construction of large cross-section tunnels under complex geological conditions in the Middle East region.It clarifies the special equipment for rapid construction of large section tunnels of the United Arab Emirates Railway under complex geological conditions and proposes technologies such as hollow hole straight cut blasting and vibration control,asbestos tunnel construction prevention and control,and concrete crack control.This can provide corresponding reference for the design and construction of large cross-section tunnels in the Middle East region in the future.
