Cultural Inheritance and Innovation in the Design of Nanyang East Railway Station
Regional characteristics and historical context are the continuation of a city's life,while architecture is the unique cultural expression of the city,and the heritage of its own context is the identity of the gateway to the city.Taking the design of Nanyang East Railway Station as an example,this paper discusses how to realize the integration of regional culture and modern architectural design through innovative design and high completion of architectural technology construction.In the architectural design of Nanyang East Railway Station,relying on the special function and location of the high-speed railway station house,through the in-depth interpretation of local traditional culture,comprehensive use of metaphor,abstraction,extraction and other design techniques,the local historical and cultural element symbols are integrated into the architectural design and interior decoration design.Through the large-span space truss structure and the small-volume light courtyard implanted in the large space and other innovative technologies,the purpose of improving the building environment and saving building energy consumption is achieved,and finally create a new era landmark building that not only continues the regional context but also does not break away from modern design technology.
