Comparison and Optimization of Techniques About Constructing the Anchor Cable Groups by Piercing the Shield into the Adjacent Foundation Pits
It is unavoidable that various buildings and underground obstacles have to be pierced due to the application of the shield.Usually, the foundation pits'supporting structure applies cable bolting where tall buildings have been finished on the both sides of the road. And the length of that cable bolting is closely related to the depth of the pits and the hydrogeology conditions. Many challenges arise from the cable bolting that is usually left in the ground after completing the foundation pits. And the solutions to these challenges mainly depend on actual hydrogeology conditions, the cable bolting design and construction situations, and the surrounding engineering environment. On the basis of the shield tunneling construction in a watery and weak stratum, this paper puts forward several different ways to deal with the cable bolting, and compares them from the aspects of construction effect, construction risk, construction period, and economy. With shield's targeted and effective design for the construction plan and anchor area's proper opening conditions under normal pressure in place, the anchor area can be directly pierced by the shield, minimizing its environmental impacts and decreasing the cost.
