Analysis and Research on the Engineering Cost of Working Shaft in Suburban Railway
Currently, there is a relative lack of domestic research literature on the cost of suburban railway working shaft. In order to investigate the investment composition and factors influencing the cost of these working shafts,an analysis and research study was conducted based on the engineering practice of Shanghai Suburban Railway Airport Link Line. The study focused on identifying the influencing factors affecting the engineering cost of working shaft construction. The findings indicate that:the type of working shaft has a significant impact on engineering costs, with starting working shaft requiring greater investment compared to receiving ones.Factors such as foundation pit depth, special external conditions, environmental protection grade, and engineering hydrological conditions have a substantial influence on working shaft construction costs and should be given more attention during the design process. The envelope system and main structure account for a high proportion(approximately 50%and 30%,respectively)of total investment in working shaft construction.Among them, underground diaphragm walls and wall structures are sub-projects with the highest investment proportion. In Shanghai's suburban railway projects utilizing underground diaphragm walls as envelope systems, the volume index for working shafts is approximately 3000 yuan/m3.
