Innovation and Practice of Prefabricated Construction Technology for U-Shaped Grooves in Large Cross-Section Roadbeds
Prefabricated construction, with its environmentally friendly and highly efficient characteristics,is progressively being implemented across various underground engineering projects. As a connecting segment between the above ground and underground structures, the roadbed U-shaped groove presents significant challenges due to its steep cross-sectional slope and non-standardized configurations, thereby complicating the adoption of prefabrication techniques. To tackle these construction difficulties and propel a novel prefabrication approach for U-shaped grooves, research has been concentrated on China's first railway project utilizing prefabricated U-shaped grooves-the large cross-section U-shaped grooves assembly project of the Beijing-Tangshan Intercity Railway. This study encompasses the development of key technologies for the prefabricated construction of large cross-section roadbed U-shaped grooves. The investigation proposes combined permanent and temporary excavation methodologies and lightweight design strategies for U-shaped grooves structures, ensuring overall integrity and safety. In response to the inconsistencies in cross-sectional shapes and the complexities associated with assembling steep slopes, specialized prefabrication and assembly equipment have been developed, including adjustable universal molds, flipping gantries, and tensioning carts.Additionally,a systematic construction method for prefabricated U-shaped grooves and an intelligent quality control method throughout the entire process have been formulated, alongside the innovation of a new construction management model. This research pioneers a fresh paradigm for prefabricated U-shaped grooves construction, facilitating the broader application of industrialized building practices within the context of roadbed U-shaped grooves.
