Research on Large Deformation Control Technology in Muzhailing Tunnel of Weiyuan-Wudu Expressway
Traditional passive support systems often encounter engineering problems such as support damage and clearance violation in large deformation tunnels.Relying on the Muzhailing Tunnel project of the Weiyuan-Wudu Expressway,an active support system based on prestressed anchor cables was proposed using numerical simulation and theoretical analysis methods.A comprehensive design method for strength matching and deformation coordination of large deformation support was proposed,and the control effect of large deformation of the active support system was studied.The conclusion shows that:(1)the strength of the support structure needs to match the pressure of the surrounding rock,the support should provide a comprehensive support force of 1-2 MPa to achieve deformation control;(2)by utilizing the elongation of prestressed anchor cables in conjunction with the opening primary support without inverted arch,it allows for coordinated deformation between the support and surrounding rock,releasing some of the surrounding rock pressure,and effectively avoiding damage to the support structure.The on-site application results of Muzhailing 3#inclined shaft show that the active support system based on prestressed anchor cables has achieved the expected results in tunnel deformation control and support failure control,verifying the effectiveness of the support system.
