Study on the Stability of Bank Slope Connected by Bridge and Tunnel in Deep Canyon
In the construction of large bridges in deep canyons,the stability analysis of bank slope is very important for bridge design,construction and later operation safety.Based on the research background of the Jinqi Bridge project connected by tunnels at both ends of the Wudang-Changshun Expressway,the topography,geomorphology,stratigraphic lithology,hydrology and geology of the slopes of both sides of the deep canyon are analyzed,and the bad geology is determined to be cliff unloading zone,dangerous rock,collapse accumulation body,etc.On this basis,the numerical analysis and comprehensive safety evaluation of bank slope stability under natural,rainstorm,natural+construction load,rainstorm+construction load,rainstorm+earthquake+construction load are carried out by using two-dimensional discrete element,strength reduction,limit equilibrium theory and other methods.Treatment schemes such as brush clearing,anchoring+grouting sealing,hanging net protection,and setting stone wall or retaining wall are adopted for unfavorable geology to support the depth design of the bridge in the next step.The relevant experience can provide reference for the research on stability of bank slope connected by bridges and tunnels in similar deep canyons.
