Analysis of Fiber Content and Repair Effect of Polymer Grouting for African Drainage Pipeline Repair
A railway station in Tanzania,Africa,had poorly repaired drainage pipes and needed a fast,effective and economical repair method.Polymer grouting repair of drainage pipes has the advantages of fast speed and does not affect the normal operation of the railway station.Combined with the local conditions in Tanzania,the indoor test was conducted to investigate how much sisal fibre was mixed in the polymer grouting repair to make the grouting material have the highest fluidity,and numerical simulation was used to study the effect of fibre polymer grouting after repairing the drainage pipe,the results show that:the fluidity of the grouting material doped with 4 wt%of fibre reaches the highest,the repaired drainage pipe has a shear displacement of 0.45 mm,which is 41.79%less than that of the pre-rehabilitated shear displacement,and the bending moment is greatly reduced,thus improving the structural safety of the rehabilitated drainage pipe.The results of the study can provide a reference for the rehabilitation of drainage pipes in Africa.
