Aiming at train control system requirements of suburban railway,and on the basis of the Chinese Train Control System-New(CTCS-N),the key technical solution of new train control system for suburban railway was explored,including train position and train occupancy detection,moving blocking,train integrity check and interoperation;the composition and basic functions of the train control system were proposed,and the comparison with CTCS-N was analyzed.The research results show the proposed train control system for suburban railway based on CTCS-N,inherits the advantages of CTCS-N,increases transportation capacity,reduces trackside equipment and maintenance costs,and simplifies the system structure,it has significant reference for the promotion of CTCS-N train control system and the development of train control system for suburban railway.
