Analysis of Spatial Characteristics of the Fourth Generation Railway Passenger Transport Hub
At present,China's railway construction is entering a new stage.Hangzhouxi Railway Station and Guangzhoubaiyun Railway Station,as the fourth generation railway passenger stations,have been successfully completed and put into use,marking another leap in China's railway passenger station construction technology.This paper analyzes the spatial organization of Wuhan Railway Station,Hangzhouxi Railway Station and Guangzhoubaiyun Railway Station,which are typical representatives of the third and fourth generation railway passenger hubs,and studies the characteristics and trends of the fourth generation railway passenger transport hubs in the context of station-city integration.This paper proposes the first circle of railway passenger hubs suitable for China's national conditions,and reveals the characteristics of its spatial design,including comparing the similarities and differences of station buildings,the changes of urban fabric,and the evolution of functions and streamline organizations.
