Study and Application of Balise Telegram Offline Generation Tool for Interoperable CBTC Systems
To deal with the problems of numerous versions of balise telegram configuration data, long time period of data preparation, and susceptibility to human errors for the CBTC system of urban rail transit,an offline balise telegram generation tool is developed. The tool can calculate all balises' fixed telegram and generate the balise configuration files based on track data, and determine the count of normal telegram through sorting out all the combinations of the protection routes and temporary speed limit states of a switchable balise. The corresponding mask and normal telegram are calculated according to the input signal and equipment status of the lineside electronic unit(LEU)involved in each combination. And the CBI-LEU interface data is verified in the light of the uniqueness of a switchable balise's mask.If the mask of one balise passed the verification, the tool will generate the LEU's configuration file containing the default LEU telegram and normal telegram with masks. The offline balise telegram generation tool can automatically generate balise telegram based on updated track data, which is applicable to metro lines equipped with interoperable CBTC systems and help enhance the efficiency of data preparation and reduce labor costs.
