Only by returning to the historical criticism of the practice of the"general"can the public logic of the study on com-mon sense dissolve the solidification of the"universal"unity.Etymologically speaking,the philological tracing of general self-proof points to the dissolution of universal coincidence theory.From the academic history of common sense,the philosophical shift from the universal unity to the ontology of existence is inferred to be a philosophical sublimation of"history"or"things".The purpose of this research forces the innovation and application of the research methods shifting from the Intellectual History to the Idea of History.As a research method,the Idea of History embodies the discursive perspective and tolerates the demarcated inclu-siveness of general history.The research purport of the"general"of common sense and the research method of the"Idea of Histo-ry"are breakthroughs made in the science of knowledge such as purpose coincidence theory and/or causal determinism.
