Objective:To investigate the continuing care needs of primary caregivers for patients with liver cancer undergoing immunotherapy,and to provide references for crafting programs of continuing care for the patients.Methods:The main caregivers for 12 patients with liver cancer undergoing immunotherapy in a Grade A hospital in Jiangsu Province were selected as interview subjects.The phenomenological research method of qualitative research was used to conduct semi-structured interviews,and the data of the interviews were analyzed by Colaizzi seven-step analysis method.Results:Five themes were extracted,i.e.,access to treatment information needs,health care guidance needs,psychological support and counseling needs,physical health care needs and caregivers'breathing service needs.Conclusion:The continuing care needs of the main caregivers are diversified.According to the different needs,the medical staff should provide targeted and individualized care support for the caregivers,improve the quality of care by meeting the care needs of the caregivers,and thus improve the life quality of the patients.
