Objective:To investigate the application effect of fire dragon pot combined with auricular acupoint on abdominal distension nursing after hysteromyoma surgery.Methods:A total of 106 patients with abdominal distension after hysteromyoma surgery in our hospital from October 2022 to October 2023 were separated into control group and observation group by random number table method,with 53 cases in each group.Routine postoperative abdominal distension nursing was conducted in the control group,while in the observation group,the fire dragon pot combined with auricular acupoint was performed in addition to routine postoperative abdominal distension nursing.The nursing lasted for 4 days.Postoperative recovery,improvement of gastrointestinal symptoms,sleep status and quality of life were observed in the two groups.Results:The recovery time of bowel sound,the first exhaust and defecation time and the disappearance time of abdominal distension in the observation group were shorter(P＜0.05),the times of abdominal distension,abdominal pain,frequency of defecation were reduced,and the symptom scores of nauseas and vomiting and total absolute value were improved(P＜0.05).The reduction of sleep time,quality and efficiency,daytime function scores and total absolute value in the observation group were higher after intervention(P＜0.05),while the scores of physiology,psychology,social relation and environment and total absolute value were greatly improved(P＜0.05).Conclusion:The combined application of fire dragon pot and auricular acupoint can effectively improve the symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort,promote the postoperative recovery and improve the quality of sleep and life of the patients.
