Cultural Risks and Countermeasures of Online Games from the Perspective of National Cultural Security
As a typical form of contemporary online culture,online games have become a"frontier battle-field"of ideological competition between China and the West.Its potential risks and challenges must be exam-ined from the perspective of national cultural security.At present,original games with independent structure have become the mainstream and highly favored.Such mainstream games have broadened the content space,playing mechanism and capital market,and are active hotbeds and carriers for new risks.These risks related to national cultural security are realized through the ideological penetration of the vast number of game players,which are embodied in six aspects:the political instigation of taking"universal value"as"discourse prac-tice",the historical misleading of taking"virtual reality"as"compilation and deduction",the value distor-tion of taking"indifferent subject"as"discipline force",the cultural incitement of taking"detachment from order"as"self-construction",the spiritual degradation of taking"indulging in fantasy"as"instinct driven",and consumption trap of taking"social comparison"as"capital for profit".In order to actively and effectively deal with the potential cultural security risks of online games,it's vital to adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping's cultural thought and the overall national security concept,strengthen the governance of online positions,and constantly improve the relevant systems and mechanisms,from establishing a"threat identification system"and"dynamic early warning mechanism"to"leading the market with theme Games",and explore an active and aggressive way of governance of online cultural security in line with China's national conditions.
