Quality and innovation are two essential pillars for an enterprise developing new quality productive forces,nei-ther of them can be absent.However,there are still some disagreements on the relationship between quality management and innovation inspiration in academia.To better understand the relationship between them,this paper analyzes the rea-sons why previous findings about the relationship are not consistent based on the literature review of existing studies on the relationship between quality and innovation.What's more,the paper conducts a comparative analysis of the character-istics of quality management and innovative activities,clarifies the basic logic that quality management and innovation can be complementary,and points out that they can achieve coordinated development in enterprises.Lastly,the paper looks into the distance to the future studies of quality management and innovation inspiration.
