Research on Rainwater System Reconstruction Strategies under the Sponge City Concept
In order to verify the ability of sponge city facilities to improve the ability of the current rainwater system to cope with rainfall in different return periods,introducting of sponge city facilities without increasing the de-sign scale of the current rainwater systerm,this paper uses the SWMM model to simulate the runoff of the rain-water system under the conditions of 1 year,3 year and 5 year design return periods after the completion of the current rainwater system with a design return period of 1 year and the addition of sponge city facilities.The results show that after adding sponge facilities,the system meets the needs of rainwater discharge under the condition of 3 year design return period,and has better discharge capacity for rainfall with a design return pe-riod of 5 years.
