Study on the Attenuation Law of Void Fraction of Open Graded Friction Course(OGFC)Asphalt Pavement
In order to study the attenuation law of porosity on void ratio of Open Graded Friction Course(OGFC)asphalt pavement, this paper adopts the indoor experimental testing and orthogonal experimental methods for related research. An analysis was conducted on the main factors affecting the attenuation of porosity on OGFC pave-ment after its opening to traffic, and the relationship between porosity and water permeability coefficient was analyzed.Evaluation indicators for the degree of porosity attenuation were proposed.Based on these evaluation indicators, the attenuation law of porosity on OGFC pavement after its opening to traffic was revealed. The re-sults showed that the larger the porosity of OGFC,the greater the water permeability coefficient, and a non-linear relationship was observed between the two;the main factors that affect the attenuation of porosity on OGFC pavement after its opening to traffic are rolling temperature, rolling frequency, wheel load pressure, and initial porosity.Rolling temperature is a key factor. The conclusion drawn from VV is basically similar to that based on the measured values of porosity, which confirms the feasibility of evaluating the degree of porosi-ty attenuation in OGFC based on the permeability coefficient.
